Corozo (Tagua Nut) Shirt Buttons, 15mm, five colours
Made to a traditional, classic shirt button pattern in the UK, from Tagua nuts (sometimes called 'vegetable ivory'), grown in Ecuador. The nuts are sustainably collected after falling from wild-growing Tagua palm trees in the rainforest, providing an income for traditional forest dwellers. Corozo can be dyed many colours, and the grain of the nut shows subtly through. Fully washable and durable, but at end-of-life they are biodegradable.
Size 15mm, just right for a 'feature' shirt button, particularly on more casual shirts - see third image featuring the Charcoal colourway (pattern: Bombazine Shirt). Matches the 11.5mm corozo buttons if you need different sizes for a garment.
Satin (semi-shiny) finish. Choose from Black, Navy, Chocolate, Charcoal or Natural.
