110cm wide, made in Japan. Fine and semi-sheer but quite a close weave, so more durable than a gauze-type cloth. Very drapey and soft, ideal for loose shirts and dresses, will take a gather very well. With its lightly rumpled texture, this one could probably get away without much ironing!

Thanks to this fabric, we discovered that 'steteco' is a traditional Japanese garment: loose shorts worn under kimono and hakama, or as loungewear.
