Lithuanian Linens, Summer 2019-20
We've been importing these beautiful linens direct from the mill in Lithuania since we opened The Drapery in 2013. Our latest collection features firm favourites and some new delights.
Linen grows in Lithuania with natural rainfall and little to no need for pesticides and fertiliser. The growing and production of linen (flax) is a rich and ancient tradition in the country. Linen is extremely absorbent (compare a cotton teatowel to a linen one for drying dishes!) and especially comfortable to wear during Australia's hot summer.
Many of our linens are pre-washed for that softly rumpled look, however all our linens will achieve this look over time.
